“I enjoyed tonight,” the text began.

“But I clocked something. You’re used to being chased. I don’t chase, I choose.

“And I don’t choose girls who still act single when they’re being considered.

“If I take you seriously, your Instagram changes. Your energy changes. Your access changes.”

The bloke insisted that he’s “not insecure”, and added: “I just don’t build with women who need options.

“So if you’re serious about me, act accordingly.”

“He text me this after our first date. I’m screaming,” Georgie wrote over the top of her TikTok video.

“For real, men are on a different planet,” she added in the caption.

While the screenshot appeared to show that Georgie had replied to the man, she didn’t reveal what she had actually written.

And people took to the comments shortly afterwards, with all the women urging her to block him.

“Is he alright?” one wrote.

“BLOCK.”

“Oh boy byeeeeeee,” another added.

“Did you press block after?” a third commented.

“What in the Andrew Tate?”someone else said.

“I would of put (thumbs up emoji) and instantly blocked him,” another insisted.

Why do people catfish others on dating apps?

Speaking to Techopedia, professional dating coach Jacob Lucas reveals how to see if someone is a catfish on dating apps.

A lot of people are insecure about themselves. They may not be very confident about dating or making friends, or about the way they look, so they create this fake persona. When they get attention and receive compliments, they then feel validated.

Very often, catfishes are in that person’s life already, so they already know them. Sometimes, it can be started off as a joke and then it spirals out of control. People can become addicted to it and it becomes a habit.

The third reason is that as weird as it sounds, they think they’re doing the right thing. If it’s a friend who has a lot of bad luck in their love life, they want to give them confidence. But they often get stuck in the habit and can’t stop doing it.

And finally, its could be that the person is trying to extort money from the other person. They may ask for a small amount of money to pay for their electricity bill for example to start off with, but if they do, it can spiral into a large amount of money. They use romance to get people to send them money.

“The way I would have just been pissing myself laughing!” someone else said.

Unsurprisingly, the responses praising the bloke all came from men, with one labelling him an “absolute legend”.

“Good man!!!” another said.

“Now that’s a king!” a third added.

“Man with his priorities straight and knows his worth and want he wants,” someone else said.

“Any Queen would be proud to call that man her King.”
