WEST HAM have been forced to clamp down on desperate Arsenal fans trying to buy tickets for a possible Premier League title party.
The Hammers host the Gunners on May 9 in what could be the match that seals visitors’ first title since 2004.
Arsenal are currently nine points clear at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City.
If they match each other’s records in the next four games, then the game would become the title clincher for the Gunners.
The game has seen ticket demand rise with Arsenal fans desperate to see the potential history-making moment.
Some supporters have even gone to the lengths of purchasing tickets in the home sections of the London Stadium.

However, West Ham have intervened, asking buyers to provide evidence of their allegiance, including pictures of themselves in the famous claret and blue.
This includes sharing pictures of themselves wearing the Hammer’s merchandise.
The East London club has also insisted that the items must have been bought before 2026.
An email was sent from the West Ham ticket office to those who, for the first time, have bought home tickets for the match.

It read: “We are currently conducting ticket checks for this fixture to ensure that away supporters do not purchase tickets in the home end and, accordingly, advise that your ticket is currently on hold and will not permit you entry into the stadium on match day in line with our terms and conditions.
“These conditions have been accepted by you during the purchasing process and state ‘home match tickets are for the use of supporters of the club only’.
“As you have no previous booking history with us or have only/mainly booked this particular fixture, we require evidence of you and your guest(s) being a West Ham United supporter.
“Therefore, could you please provide photographic evidence that you are a West Ham United supporter which can be from a party, event or fixture wearing West Ham merchandise or West Ham related evidence (please note any merchandise will need to be purchased prior to January 2026).”
SunSports understands that the email relates to audits that the ticket office carries out on a regular basis.
It is done to minimise the risk of away supporters obtaining tickets in the home sections of the stadium.
West Ham are likely to have a lot riding on the match themselves as they are currently in the midst of a relegation battle.
The Hammers are one point from safety as they trail London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
