Cubarsi, 19, was shown a straight red card after a foul on Giuliano Simeone.
It was deemed that Simeone was in a clear goalscoring position before he was floored.

Cubarsi tried to have a cheeky look at the challenge from the monitor just seconds after he was issued his marching orders.
But the centre-back was caught being nosy and the screen immediately turned off.
The Spain international then made his way back to the dressing room for an early shower.
Alvarez went on to open the scoring just a minute after the defender’s dismissal.

And Sorloth sealed the big win 20 minutes before full-time to give Atletico a comfortable lead ahead of the return fixture.
The LaLiga rivals will meet again on April 14 at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Barcelona will need to score at least two goals in the second leg to hope for a place in the final four.
