A START date for Claudia Winkleman’s brand new chat show has been revealed.
The host, who is currently on screen at the helm of The Traitors, has bagged her own series which will rival close friend Graham Norton’s eponymous celeb-guest talk show.
And now, it has been revealed that Claudia will be returning to screen in just two months for the show, with a March premiere date.
Set to be titled The Claudia Winkleman Show, the new series is being produced by the same company behind The Graham Norton Show and will air when his show is not on.
And Appearing on Lorraine today, Graham spoke out his thoughts on Claudia’s newest move.
He said: “So, basically, what’s happened is that I used to do another – when I finished at the end of February I used to come back and do April, May… So, I stopped doing that a few years ago.

“And, this idea came up that Claudia could come and do it. But it’s a very standalone show,
“She stood in for me last year and she did an amazing job, I thought it was very – it was just very Claudia,” said Graham of his close friend.
He continued: “And this is going to be even more Claudia because it’s her own set, her own everything.
“I think, actually, she starts in March. Towards the end of March, I think, she’s on.”
Speaking about her new talk show earlier this month, Claudia exclaimed: “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity.
“I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the head of entertainment commissioning at the BBC, said: “Claudia is a true national treasure – warm, witty and endlessly entertaining.
“She has an extraordinary ability to put people at ease and bring out the very best in them, whether they’re global superstars or members of the audience.
“It’s very exciting that she will be fronting her very own show on the BBC, and we can’t wait for viewers to join Claudia and her sofa full of stars.”
It comes after the news broke back in October that Tess Daly and Claudia were quitting Strictly Come Dancing after hosting the show together for 11 years.
Tess quit after 21 years, and Claudia after 11.
The two women hosted the show together for over a decade, and their final episodes together were filled with emotion.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Day episode marked Tess and Claudia’s final ever appearance on the show as hosts.
