Top Kremlin official ‘stabbed to death by schoolboy’ as Putin orders media blackout over death of propaganda chief

A 16-YEAR-old schoolboy is accused of stabbing a Kremlin propaganda boss to death inside a fortified Moscow government building.

Vladimir Putin’s feared FSB swiftly wiped the secretive slaying from public view in what has been described as a total media blackout.

The victim, Alexei Belyaev, worked as a senior censor at Roskomnadzor, the agency responsible for Mad Vlad’s fierce online crackdown.

The propaganda unit is responsible for blocking websites, throttling internet traffic and imposing digital censorship across Russia.

Despite the shocking nature of the alleged attack – just inside the watchdog’s headquarters, minutes from the Kremlin – the Russian authorities have not publicly acknowledged the death.

Instead, the FSB quickly smothered news of the killing.

The brutal stabbing occurred on January 19 at the entrance to Roskomnadzor’s main building, according to Russian investigative Telegram channel VChK-OGPU, which has security service links.

The channel claims the teenager, identified only as Artem, knifed Belyaev in the chest, killing him at the scene.

Cops believe the boy despised Belyaev’s censorship role and had been carefully planning the attack for weeks, according to VChK-OGPU.

Artem allegedly scouted the building in December, prowling around the entrance before returning with a knife.

The shocking incident only came to light when the boy’s mother reportedly posted online desperately searching for a lawyer to defend him.

The post was later deleted.

Belyaev, who was made deputy department head in 2021, was specifically responsible for blocking websites seen as a threat to Mad Vlad’s regime, and Western platforms such as X and YouTube.

In 2017, he received an official commendation from Putin for helping secure communications during elections.

A criminal case has reportedly been opened under Russia’s most serious murder charge, covering killings motivated by political or ideological hatred.

Suspiciously, there is no public court record of the case.

State and pro-government media were ordered not to publish anything about Belyaev on the day of the slaying, per independent outlet Meduza.

In spite of his role at a major government building, no trace of a criminal case or arrest on Moscow court websites.

Despite this, Belyaev’s ID documents and tax number were invalidated on January 19, a measure typically taken when a death is officially registered.

The case has reportedly been fully classified by the FSB.

The teenager’s school also reportedly confirmed that the boy stopped attending classes shortly after the killing.

Despite his top role, Belyaev was apparently forced to make ends meet as a taxi driver because his £1,400-a-month salary was not enough to fund his Moscow lifestyle.

It follows a string of mystery deaths linked to the Kremlin.

Mad Vlad’s former minister and IT guru was found shot dead at his home earlier this month.

Alexey Sklyar, 50, who also served as vice-president of the Russian Export Centre, was found in his Moscow mansion.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, the door to the property was open and a weapon was discovered near the former officials body.

Law enforcement officers believe the death to be suicide.

Russian oil tycoon Vladislav Baumgertner, 53, was found dead not long before, after vanishing near his luxury Cyprus villa.

Telegram reports claimed the corpse found was “badly mutilated and has undergone decomposition”.

Just two days earlier, reports emerged that a Russian diplomat found dead in Cyprus was a GRU spy who wanted to defect.

Anton Panov, 47, who reportedly worked as a captain for Putin’s notorious GRU, was found hanged in the Nicosia Russian embassy on January 8.
