THE MASTERS have released a statement supporting Tiger Woods after the golfer stated he is seeking treatment following his car crash.
Woods was hit with DUI charges and subsequently released on bail following the high-speed collision.

Cops slapped Woods with misdemeanour charges of driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to submit to a lawful test.
He has since said he will be “stepping away for a period of time” as he focuses on his health, which means he will miss The Masters.
Augusta National and the tournament has responded offering Woods their full support.
Chairman Fred Ridley said in a statement: “Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament fully support Tiger Woods as he focuses on his well-being.

“Although Tiger will not be joining us in person next week, his presence will be felt here in Augusta.”
Woods, 50, has not featured at a golf tournament since the 2024 Open but he was eyeing an appearance at The Masters next week.
And he is now set to extend his break from golf as he focuses on his recovery.
The 15-time major winner said: “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today.

“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.
“This is necessary in order for me to prioritise my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.
“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally.
“I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
It is alleged Woods had tried to overtake a cleaning truck at a “high rate of speed” before clipping it and flipping his SUV.
Cops said he showed signs of impairment but investigators stressed they were “really not suspicious of alcohol being involved” after he blew “triple zeros” on a breathalyser.
However Sheriff John Budensiek revealed Woods had refused to take a urine test when asked.
