A MAJOR broadband provider is currently down, with over 5,000 users reporting issues.
Households across the UK have been having problems with broadband internet.
TalkTalk, which offers UK broadband internet and fibre connectivity among other services, is currently experiencing issues, according to Downdetector.
The website shows issues started as early as 7am for some users, with reports spiking to 5,343 by 7.58am.
Customers took to X to share further details of the outage, which appears to affect numerous areas.
“Even though the online tool says status is correct. It’s not. No internet in Staffordshire area,” said one social media user.

“No internet in Shropshire TF11,” shared another person, while a third wrote: “Down in AL1 post code.”
“It’s down again in the Glasgow area,” said another X user who has been experiencing issues throughout the morning.
The issues follow an internet outage for many TalkTalk users in Glasgow earlier this month.
