THERE’S nothing quite as annoying as having to dry all your bedding, as it takes up heaps of space – both in your tumble dryer, as well as on the airer.

To make her laundry days easier, the Sort Your Life Out host, 36, uses a bargain buy from Amazon – a Spiral Sheet Hanger, which costs just £18.88 for a two-pack.

This clothes rack set features a spiral-shaped stainless steel design tailored for efficient drying of bed sheets, towels and blankets, ensuring secure hanging without creases or wind disturbance.

The compact 15x15x5.5in size and spiral shape enable convenient indoor or outdoor drying while optimising space usage – which is a must for smaller laundry areas or limited room environments.

According to the description online, this 3.7-star buy will also last you ages thanks to the corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

DRYING SOLUTION

Lidl’s gadget holds 15kg of washing & means you don’t need heating on

Whether you want to dry various household textiles, such as bedding, or even smaller items, like scarves, the multi-functional hanger will make your laundry days a breeze.

Taking to Instagram, the former Loose Women panellist said: ”I’m actually so happy with this.

“I hate tumble drying my bedding because I feel like you lose that freshly washed smell and it’s expensive – but when I hand it it takes up the whole line so this is a game-changer.”

On her Instagram Stories, the cleanfluencer attached the hanger to a small hook on the ceiling and successfully tested it out with a super king duvet.

The mum-of-five, whose daughter Belle recently celebrated her third birthday, revealed that shoppers get two hangers per pack, which works out to be a little over £9/each.

“Lots of you saying you have these and love them,” she continued.

“Also you’ve said to fold it in half on my arm, then loop it round, so I’ll do that next time.”

It’s not just the former X Factor contestant and her Instagram followers raving about the Amazon buy – over a dozen online shoppers have left rave reviews too.

“So glad I bought these, so easy to hang bedding on and not take up all the washing line, also can be used indoors, good value for money,” wrote one happy Amazon customer.

“Didn’t come with the fixings pictures but made it work and they do the job very well!” another chimed in.

“Makes drying towels and bedding quick and easy. Hang mine from the shower rail and dry overnight.”

“I’ve never come across these spiral hangers before but I’m so glad I’ve found them!” said someone else.

“They are excellent for hanging sheets and duvet covers to dry and take up so much less space on the line than just pegging the sheets out straight as I used to do. They also seem to dry just as quickly.”

More winter laundry tips

Tackling laundry in the winter can be a challenge, but these handy tips can help you stay on top of it:

  • Use a Dehumidifier: Place a dehumidifier in your drying area to speed up the drying process and prevent dampness.
  • Spin Cycle Boost: Run an extra spin cycle on your washing machine to remove excess water from clothes, reducing drying time.
  • Indoor Drying Rack: Invest in a good-quality indoor drying rack and position it near a radiator or in a well-ventilated room.
  • Tumble Dryer Balls: Add tumble dryer balls to your dryer to help clothes dry faster and reduce static cling.
  • Space-Saving Hangers: Use space-saving hangers or a retractable washing line to maximise indoor drying space.
  • Microfibre Towels: Lay microfibre towels over your drying rack to absorb extra moisture from hanging clothes.
  • Partially Dry Outside: On dry days, hang clothes outside for a short period before bringing them in to finish drying.

These hacks can help you keep your laundry routine efficient and your clothes fresh, even during the colder months.
