MICHAL SZUBARCZYK put on a brave performance in his first outing on free-to-air TV.
The snooker prodigy took on world no3 Neil Robertson at the Welsh Open in the round of 32.

Szubarczyk, just 15 years old, was defeated by the Australian star 4-1 but still managed to show his impressive skills on the felt.
The Polish ace dominated the first frame with a stunning opening break of 90, leaving Robertson firmly seated.
Despite his brilliant start to the match, he was eventually knocked out of the tournament by the world no3.
But his composure on the big stage and on TV did leave fans impressed one social media.

Another added: “He’s better than me for sure.”
Robertson was the leader of the Main Tour world rankings when he won the world title in 2010 – when Szubarczyk was not even born.
Szubarczyk had not yet come up against a player of the quality of Robertson in his young career until now.
Elsewhere in the Welsh Open, star Michael Holt was left baffled after a foul was called in his game against Mark Williams.
The 47-year-old was leading by 40 points in the second frame when the unusual incident occurred.
After potting a red, he pulled his cue away from the table but accidentally tapped it on the yellow.
Viewers were unable to see the contact, but the eagle-eyed marker – who regularly uses video replays to aid the referee – was quick to spot it.
