A GRINNING Stephen Hawking was pictured alongside two bikini-clad women sipping on cocktails in a photo released in the Epstein files.
The world-renowned British theoretical physicist can be seen laying on a sun lounger holding a red drink on what appears to be a tropical island.
The context of the photo is unclear with the location or date unknown.
It has circulated online in the past but was featured in the latest cache of documents released by Donald Trump and the Department of Justice.
Hawking, who died in 2018 aged 76, has been pictured on Little St James, often referred to as Epstein’s “Paedo Island”, in the past.
He was on a trip to the US Virgin Islands with a group of 21 scientists attending a conference in March 2006, which was funded by Epstein.

Prior to the Energy of Empty Space That Isn’t Zero event, Hawking was seen in two images on the notorious island.
One saw him at a barbecue with a number of other people with the second of Hawking being given a tour of the island’s seabed from the inside of a submarine.
Epstein had reportedly modified the underwater vessel so Hawking, who used a wheelchair because of his motor neurone disease, could go underwater.
Hawking and Epstein’s relationship before and after the documented trip to the island is unclear with the pair not being pictured together at any point.
But Hawking was referenced over 250 times in the latest tranche of Epstein files released by the DOJ.
Being mentioned in the files does not imply any wrongdoing.
In January, a bombshell allegation was revealed within the documents against Hawking.
In an email, Epstein suggested Virginia Giuffre, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s teen accuser, had made claims about the British scientist and former US President Bill Clinton.
The email read: “You can issue a reward to any of Virginia’s friends, acquaints, family that come forward and help prove her allegations are false.
“The strongest is the Clinton dinner, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an underage orgy.”
A second claim against Hawking was also found which alleged he and Epstein visited an “all male” club together in 2011.
FBI officials received an unsubstantiated tip-off in 2019 claiming the pair were with “some Russian liaisons”, according to the files.
The revelations come after the release of three million files linked to Epstein last month.
It comes amid claims Epstein hid computers and photographs in secret storage units across the US, in an apparent effort to keep material from investigators.
The convicted paedophile reportedly paid private detectives to remove equipment from his Florida mansion before a police raid and stash it in rented lock-ups across the country.
Financial records indicate Epstein leased at least six storage units over more than a decade, including facilities in Florida and New York.
Some payments reportedly continued until 2019, the year of his death.
Search warrants reviewed by The Telegraph suggest US authorities never raided the external lockers, raising the possibility they may contain unseen evidence relating to Epstein and people in his orbit including Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Lord Mandelson.
