DARTS fans were left baffled as James Wade and Mensur Suljovic began their match with an arm wrestle.
The pair met in the quarter-finals of the Players Championship 1 with Wade winning 6-3.
However the game got off to a frosty start before a competitive arrow had been thrown.
Wade, 42, stared down his opponent as Suljovic had his practice throw.
Suljovic responded by stretching out his arm to shake Wade’s hand.
The pair then grasped palms and Suljovic pulled Wade’s hand towards him.

They began a weird tussle which ended up with Wade pushing his rival’s arm down, almost like a mid-air arm wrestle.
Suljovic, 53, then began laughing with Wade almost appearing to smile, but it was not clear if the incident was a joke.
Fans were left baffled by the pair’s behaviour with one saying: “Pro Tour heritage this clip is from James Wade and Mensur Suljovic 😭”
Another added: “What is happening here?!”

A third wrote: “Can’t tell if there joking around or not like 😂”
And another commented: “Genuinely no clue what’s going on here.”
After beating Suljovic, Wade went on to beat Michael van Gerwen in the semis before claiming the title with an 8-6 triumph over Nathan Aspinall.
