AN OnlyFans model has denied she was the secret mistress who led authorities to a love nest where a notorious Mexican cartel leader was killed.
Influencer María Julissa was accused of tipping off police to the location of the infamous crime lord ahead of his violent death.
Mexican media have reported the pair had a relationship – which the social media star has denied.
But a chilling banner threatening Julissa was hung up by supposed cartel members.
The banner outlined a chilling message for the young influencer, saying: “B***h Maria Julissa. You bit the hand that feeds you, you sent the marines after Chelo because they stole your truck”.
The banner was signed CJNG – the initials signifying El Mencho’s gang.

“I want to make it absolutely clear: I have nothing to do with that situation,” she wrote to her 3.5 million Instagram followers.
She continued, saying: “the information circulating is false and unfounded”.
“I ask that you not share unverified content and not take any information you see on social media as fact. Misinformation can cause a lot of harm,” she added.
“[Do] not fall for fake news and always consult official and reliable sources.”
Julissa accused the media of sensationalism and publicly shamed the publications and media outlets that accused her of being a suspect.
Mexican authorities said they located Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cerantes – leader of the New Generation Jalisco Cartel (CJNG) – in a picturesque village in western Mexico.
El Mencho was killed in a violent confrontation that followed, with Mexico’s Defense Secretary Ricardo Trevilla later revealing how agents had found him.
Trevilla said spies had identified and followed one of El Mencho’s girlfriends to the secluded holiday spot.
Julissa’s rebuttal came after C5N and other outlets accused her of being the main suspect who led authorities to kill the cartel boss.
Authorities have not revealed any information about the identity of the woman who led them to El Mencho.
Despite the lack of evidence, several posts spread on social media have continued to claim she was one of the slain cartel boss’ girlfriends.
At least 73 people have died in the chaos following the death of El Mencho.
Trevilla gave a statement to media on Monday, saying that officers discovered the woman had been transported to Tapalpa, ahead of the raid, some 130 kilometers from Guadalajara.
The woman met with El Mencho on Saturday, then left, leaving him in the house with his security detail.
The crime lord and his men were located in the mountainside getaway before the National Guard’s Special Immediate Reaction Force descended on Sunday, Trevilla said.
The sting was carried out with both land and air maneuvers.
The crime boss’s death has unleashed a wave of violence across the country, as terrifying footage from on the ground revealed the scale of devastation.
At least 9,500 troops have been deployed in the country as fighting rages on.
