CAT Deeley missed a second day of This Morning today and was replaced by Strictly Come Dancing star, Angela Scanlon.
The presenter usually hosts the ITV show with Ben Shephard from Monday to Thursday but was missing in action for the second day in a row.
Ben began the show by saying: “She’s back for another day. Angela’s here with me again. We’ve got a big show for you today.”
No mention was made for why Cat was replaced and she’s yet to reveal the reason for her absence.
During Tuesday’s episode, Ben told viewers that “Cat is away” and failed to offer any further explanation.
Her absence didn’t go unnoticed by viewers at home as they flocked to X to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “Two questions… where is Cat, and can we keep Angela forever”
Another This Morning fan commented: “Wonder where Cat is btw…”
Somebody else asked: “Team, where’s Cat? And what do we feel about AS?”
While a fourth added: “I’m Late!! Where is Cat?”
This isn’t the first time Cat has gone missing from the show, after she was replaced by Alison Hammond for an episode in December.
Cat and Ben took over as the main hosts in March 2024 following the departures of long-term hosts, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The show temporarily had a whole host of stand-in presenters, including Rylan Clark, Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rochelle Humes and Emma Willis.
Cat’s mysterious disappearance comes months after her surprising split from husband of 13 years, Patrick Kielty.
The former couple – who share sons Milo, nine, and James, seven – released a shock statement in June announcing the end of their relationship.
They said in a joint statement: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected.
“There will be no further comment,” they concluded.
We later revealed how Cat was “feeling anxious” ahead of her first day back at This Morning following the news.
A source told The Sun: “Cat feels anxious ahead of her first day back after announcing the bombshell news of her split during her break.
“She has decided NOT to mention the breakdown of her marriage on screen and instead wants to keep the chatty dialogue between her and Ben upbeat and positive for viewers.”
Three months before splitting from 54-year-old Patrick, Cat was absent from his mother’s funeral in a move that raised eyebrows.
Our insider continued at the time: “She has been hurt that people who don’t even know her have judged her for not going to her mother-in-law’s funeral in March.
“Even people from within Patrick’s family and inner circle who don’t know her well have criticised her for that and made out that it was the reason for the split when that couldn’t be further from the truth.”
