Mum, 43, charged with murder of 18-days-old baby girl after tot fell from height

A WOMAN has been charged after the death of a baby in Westminster.

The Met Police were called to the scene on Horseferry Road at 7.30am on Saturday, 14 March.

Officers responded to reports that a baby had fallen from a height from a residential property.

The baby – aged 18 days old – was taken to hospital, where she sadly died.

Zahira Byjaouane, 43, has now been charged with murder.

She has been remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The woman who has been charged was the mother of the baby.
