Molly-Mae admits she doesn’t want to send Bambi to school as it’s ‘too strict’ but fans urge to set better boundaries

MOLLY-MAE HAGUE has sparked a fierce debate after “controversially” admitting she doesn’t know if she wants to send Bambi, three, to school.

The mum-of-one, who recently announced her second pregnancy with fellow Love Island alumnus, Tommy Fury, voiced the dilemma in her latest YouTube vlog.

The 26-year-old, who has boob job plans after giving birth to their second child, told her 2million YouTube fans the family had gone to visit a school for Bambi.

Following the visit, the multi-millionaire left with mixed feelings, as she went on to open up in the video.

Molly said: “I fear as though it could be quite a controversial one – and you know me, I could sneeze and people will find it controversial.

“We were kind of feeling very much on the fence with schooling and school, and what we’re gonna do and where we’re at with it,” said Molly, who claimed she didn’t go to a private school herself.

Trolls say my strict parenting rule is ‘sad’ and ‘mean’ – but I don’t care

The fashion and beauty giant, who recently landed an eye-watering multi-million Adidas deal, revealed the couple were “very stuck” on what they’re going to do regarding the tot’s education.

According to Molly, her partner wants Bambi to go to a Catholic school – which is a “non-negotiable because it’s Tommy’s religion”.

“Obviously, I support that,” said the influencer, adding such schools were “far and few between”.

“We went to see a school and I think it kind of affirmed to us, re-affirmed, that we’re very much on the fence about, I don’t want to say, not sending her at all – because I definitely want her to go to school.

“I just don’t know what that looks like, in what capacity. I think the legal age, the limit is five – do we wait a little bit? Do we just take her lead to see if she’s ready?”

She continued: “Bambi has got just so much – I mean, I’m so biased cause she’s my child – she’s got so much personality.

“Obviously, every parent think their child is just so beyond special, but, like, she has such a spark and such a brightness about her that the thought of sending her to school…

“I want her to stay Bambi,” said the mum, adding she was aware parents have to let their kids ”spread their wings” at some point.

“I don’t know, I just don’t want her to lose her.”

Molly went on to share her dilemma: “Obviously, they’re so strict which is great […] and we’re strict with Bambi – but in a way that we’re comfortable with.

“The thought of handing your child over for five days a week, six, seven hours a day, to a system it’s kind of terrifying.

“I think because we’re so protective of Bambi – I’m protective but Tommy‘s another level when it comes to Bambi – I just don’t really know where our heads are at with it.”

The pregnant mum, who found the experience “overwhelming”, said: ”I don’t want Bambi to miss out. If she wants to go to school, obviously we’re gonna encourage that.

“We just want her to be happy.”

The Love Island super star went on: “But equally, we might put her in a school if that’s what we decide to do and it might not be what works.

“Could homeschooling be an option? People will probably be thinking this is because of Tommy’s opinions and he is half-Traveller […] – but Tommy went to school so it’s nothing to do with that.”

The multi-millionaire, who “didn’t enjoy school at all”, said: “I don’t want to make a decision that’s then gonna hinder her future. So if she wants to become a vet, she wants to become a doctor or a nurse, or do something where she needs specific grades – then we want her to have that.”

The video was also shared on TikTok by user @clipped.net.z – and it was a mixed bag of reactions in the comments.

One mum said: “Every child is different and you know Ur own child. I took my son out in year 8 and I wish I had never sent him in the first place but my other son is at school and doing amazing so it’s definitely a hard choice. school isn’t for everyone.”

Another, meanwhile, thought: “If I had my time again with my boys they would be home educated the school system is very very outdated.”

“If it doesn’t feel right then don’t send her yet,” a third chimed in.

“Kids like Bambi need to go to school so she can learn boundaries,” someone else said.
