Meghan, 44, arrived without hubby Prince Harry on Saturday, exuding Hollywood style in a strapless satin gown with a black velvet shawl.
The mum of two was a guest at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in LA — to support small black-owned businesses.
Beyonce’s mum, Tina Knowles, 72, was honoured at the fundraiser.
Last month, it was reported that Meg was planning to return to Britain in July for the first time in four years.
Meghan was to join hubby Prince Harry at an Invictus Games event in Birmingham if their security was approved.

Her planned summer trip came as the US-based couple were set to hear the result of their taxpayer-funded security review.
Meghan, 44, hoped to be in Birmingham on July 10 at the one-year countdown party for the Invictus Games, which were set up by Harry for wounded soldiers.
She has joined him at previous ceremonies one year before the games in Canada and Germany.
It would be her first time back in the UK since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
Although details of the countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games have not been released, ceremonial events featuring the Sussexes are expected.
But a source said: “Security is always going to be the deciding factor in this.”
