EDDIE HEARN has dropped a massive hint that Anthony Joshua is keen to finally fight Deontay Wilder after being called out on Saturday night.
Wilder, 40, made his intentions clear following his points win over Derek Chisora at the O2.
The Bronze Bomber gave AJ a fist bump when leaving and then asked for a fight, saying: “Let’s do it, let’s do it.”
Joshua, 36, smiled back before Wilder turned to his team and said: “He’s scared as f***, let’s do it.”
The pair are yet to face each other despite years of clamour for it to happen.
And now AJ’s promoter, Hearn has revealed that it’s on.
THAT’S WILD

He wrote on Instagram, posing with his client at the fight next to a Chisora vs Wilder poster: “Basically AJ wants all the smoke”.
Hearn added after the bout’ “He [Wilder] said: ‘Let’s do it.’
“I mean AJ just sort of stared him ice cold. He’d fight him, no problem.”

Hearn added: “I thought he [Wilder] looked better.
“Listen, Chisora’s not easy. He’s a tough man. He’s not an easy guy to beat.
“I wasn’t impressed with Wilder, but I was more impressed than I thought I was if that makes sense.”
Former heavyweight champion Wilder has now lost four of his last fights including twice to Tyson Fury in 2020 and 2021.
He and AJ looked to be on a collision course in 2015 but nothing came of it with both losing some of their prestige in recent years.
Brit Joshua is back in training after his car accident over the New Year which left him injured and two friends dead.
He most recently went in the ring with Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, winning by knockout at the end of 2025.
And veteran Wilder fell short of a vintage performance against Chisora in his last fight.
He was mostly on top before suffering a late knockdown. The judges scored things 115-111, 115-112, 115-113.
Attention will now turn to a potential blockbuster between Wilder and Joshua, over 10 years later than expected.
AJ, who was appearing publicly for the first time since his crash, watched on in a rare outing to see rivals.
He makes an exception for Chisora but was blanked by Wilder on his arrival.
They might not be able to ignore each other for much longer.
The Home of Boxing in 2026
There’s a massive year of boxing ahead!
It’s shaping up to be a blockbuster year of action inside the boxing ring.
Tyson Fury will make his return in April against Arslanbek Makhmudov while Oleksandr Usyk takes on the king of kickboxing Rico Verhoeven.
Conor Benn features for the first time since making the switch to Zuffa Boxing and Fabio Wardley will defend his newly won heavyweight crown.
Canelo Alvarez will be hoping to return after his defeat to Terence Crawford and heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk will also defend his straps.
Derek Chisora will fight for the 50th and (perhaps) final time against Deontay Wilder while Daniel Dubois is also on the comeback trail.
A whole bunch of British stars could also take a leap into superstardom, with the likes of Moses Itauma, Hamzah Sheeraz and Adam Azim ready to join the very top of the sport.
