MARRIED At First Sight UK star Peggy Rose has shared an update on her pregnancy – including her due date – after a terrifying scare.
The star, who appeared on the 2023 series of the E4 favourite, has been allowing followers into every step of her journey to become a mother, including IVF treatment.
At the end of February, she posted an adorable video to reveal that her efforts had finally been successful, and she was expecting.
However, today she shared that she was left terrified after taking another pregnancy test to discover the date it showed was off – leading her to Google what it meant.
Posting a video of a trip to the hospital, she shared thankfully it was all OK – and warned other mothers not to do what she did and search online for answers.
“Last week I had the biggest panic! I took a pregnancy test and the result came back saying 2–3 weeks (when I was 6 weeks so it should have showed 3+) but I’d also been having a sharp pain in my right pelvic area,” she wrote.

“Of course I did the thing you’re not supposed to do… went straight to Dr Google 🤦🏼♀️ and convinced myself it could be an ectopic pregnancy.”
“Thankfully the team at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital were absolutely incredible and got me booked in for a scan the very next day just to check everything out,” she revealed.
“The biggest relief… everything is exactly where it should be 🤍 And even more special, we got to see the heartbeat 💓”
The video showed the scan of her belly, with a bean-sized mark showing her growing baby doing well.
“They didn’t want us to listen to it just yet as it’s still very early (I was 6 weeks + 2 days), but seeing that little flicker was the most magical moment,” she wrote.
“It also just shows you not to take everything for granted with pregnancy tests. They’re helpful, but they’re not 100% accurate (around 93% for this one).
“And it also proves maybe we shouldn’t Google absolutely everything… although in this case I’m really glad I checked things out because I feel so much happier and less stressed knowing everything is progressing well.”
The star then confirmed that her due date is October 26th – noting it was her lucky number, and this is clearly their “lucky egg”.
“Fingers crossed our little miracle keeps growing nicely. We have our next scan in the middle of March, so I’ll update you all then,” she concluded.
“Thank you so much for all the lovely comments and well wishes — it really means the world 🤍 And it was so lovely seeing some of you at The Baby Show this weekend too!!!”
On the E4 reality series, Peggy married to Georges Berthonneau, but the pairing was explosive and they didn’t last.
Now she is keeping her new relationship out of the spotlight – with her only showing the back of his head as he hugged her during the pregnancy reveal video.
In the clip, he is seen with his back to the camera wearing a baseball cap, which he then turns around to reveal the word “Dad”.
Peggy then wraps her arms around him, revealing a bedazzled positive pregnancy test, before they kiss and it’s seen that she’s wearing a similar pink cap that says “Mum”.
