Maccabi Tel Aviv return to action on Saturday as they host Bnei Sakhnin.
They trail league leaders Hapoel Beer Sheva by eight points after 17 games and have some major ground to make up in the title race.
Beitar Jerusalem also sit six points ahead of them in second spot.
In Europe, Maccabi find themselves 35th out of 36 teams in the Europa League.
They’ve only managed to pick up one point from six outings, scoring just two goals.
Aston Villa are one of the teams who defeated them with games against Freiburg and Bologna to come later this month as the league phase comes to an end.
