Gabby and Casey, 29, first met on Love Island All Stars in 2025 but they parted ways just months after winning the show.

But now the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star has opened up for the first time on what really happened.

The fitness instructor said the pair sat down and had what seemed to be a brutal heart-to-heart.

Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast, Gabby said: “One night he was like ‘are you happy?’ and I was like ‘NO.’

“And then he was like ‘yeah me either’ but it was because it just wasn’t working.”

She added: “You know what, we had such a great experience when we were in there [Love Island All Stars villa] together…

“You only have that time when your together to see if you really like each other. But lets just say when we came out we was just in different places in our lives.

“Not that I’m like ready to have babies and move in together or anything like that but I think I’m further along those lines than he is. We just didn’t align in a lot of ways.”

Gabby told podcast host Joe Baggs that the pair split on good terms and the TV personality is yet to say a bad word about him.

When grilled about her split from the Love Island hunk on the spin-off After Sun she jokingly said to Maya Jama, “how long have you got?”

Before the former couple met on All Stars, Casey had reportedly followed her two years before on Instagram but never made a move because Gabby was in a relationship.

Fitness fanatic Gabby recently revealed she is set to appear on the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

On the podcast she told Joe she was looking to push herself outside of her comfort zone again after taking on Celebrity SAS.

Gabby said dating hadn’t been going well for her since coming off Love Island but confessed she was excited to give a dating show with a different format a good go.

A TV insider said: “Gabby is keen to see if she can find a man to go the distance with, and has turned to the Celebs Go Dating team to set her up.”

Alongside Gabby, James Haskell, TV legend Coleen Nolan, MAFS Australia’s Lucinda Light and David Potts have also been cast.

There is yet to be an official release date for the 2026 series of the Channel 4 show.
