Latest news on Bukayo Saka, Florian Wirtz and more

DREAM TEAM brings you all the latest injury, suspension and availability news ahead of Gameweek 26.

Arne Slot does not expect Florian Wirtz to be available when Liverpool host West Ham on Saturday.

The German playmaker was withdrawn from the Reds’ starting line-up last weekend with a back issue, the severity of which is unclear at this stage.

In brighter news for the Reds, Jeremie Frimpong is ready for action after missing the last five games.

As for the Hammers, Pablo Felipe will not make the trip to Anfield with Nuno Espirito Santo also citing some other knocks that need to be checked before final decisions are made.

Bryan Mbeumbo limped off against Everton on Monday night but the Cameroon international has been spotted in Manchester United training this week and Michael Carrick did not mention a problem during his Friday press conference.

Kai Havertz is scheduled to train on Saturday ahead of Arsenal’s home game against Chelsea on Sunday but Ben White is a major doubt.

Bukayo Saka was forced off in stoppage time against Spurs last weekend but the Gunners’ No7 was not mentioned by Mikel Arteta when quizzed about availability.

Estevao, Jamie Gittens and Marc Cucurella remain sidelined for the Blues while Wesley Fofana is set to serve a one-match suspension having been shown two yellows against Burnley last Saturday.

Tottenham may be boosted by the returns of Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso in defence while Micky van de Ven is thought be to capable of playing with an awkward finger injury.

Spurs will still be without as many as ten first team players, including the suspended Cristian Romero.

Jeremy Doku trained on Thursday but it’s not clear whether the Manchester City winger is ready for first team action just yet.

Sven Botman and Yoane Wissa returned in midweek and Eddie Howe reckons Jacob Murphy has a chance of featuring against Everton this weekend.

However, Newcastle will once again be without Bruno Guimaraes, Tino Livramento and Lewis Miley among others (see below).

As for the Toffees, Charly Alcaraz is out with injury but Jake O’Brien is available again having served his suspension in full.

Key Sunderland defender Nordi Mukiele has been ruled out for two to three weeks and it’s a similar timeline for forward Brian Brobbey.

Regis Le Bris also confirmed that Jocelin Ta Bi has been ruled out for the next month.

Brentford may be short at right-back against Burnley as both Michael Kayode and Aaron Hickey are considered doubts.
