THE gunman who assassinated Japan’s ex-Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been jailed for life three years after the shocking killing.
Tetsuya Yamagami, 45, gunned down Abe in the street in broad daylight using a shotgun-style homemade weapon.
The assassin admitted to carrying out the cold-blooded slaying three months ago and was today found guilty of murder.
