AN influencer has been slapped with a one-year flight ban after brazenly lighting a cigarette mid-flight and sharing the footage online.
Erkan Toy – better known to his one million followers as “Erkan Abi” – filmed himself sparking up inside the cabin of Turkish budget airline AJet.
The shocking clip shows him lighting a cigarette as the person sitting next to him tries to stop him from doing so.
Within hours of the footage circulating online, AJet confirmed the passenger had been placed on its blacklist.
He will now be barred from flying with the airline for one year.
Under Turkish civil aviation law, smoking or using electronic cigarettes during a flight is strictly prohibited.

Passengers caught breaking the rules face fines of 24,681 lira (£415).
The airline said it is still considering whether or not to fine the influencer.
AJet launched in 2024 as the rebranded successor to AnadoluJet, formerly the low-cost arm of Turkish Airlines.
This is not the first time an influencer’s behaviour on a flight has let them down.
In January, two OnlyFans models were kicked off an American Airlines flight after allegedly telling staff they were drunk and didn’t have boarding passes.
Sania Blanchard, 34, and Jordan Danne Lantry, 31, were escorted off the aircraft in handcuffs after reportedly causing a drunken disturbance.
Unfortunately, the theatrics didn’t stop there.
In one bizarre video, Lantry – her hands still cuffed behind her back – suddenly drops into the splits in the aisle.
As officers pull the adult actress back to her feet, she quips: “Sorry, I just had to do a bit of yoga.”
The clip also shows Blanchard shouting: “I am getting kicked off because I did not sit in the right f**king seat!”
Another video posted to social media was captioned: “POV: these divas are responsible for your plane deboarding.”
According to reports, the pair had refused to move to their assigned seats when asked by airline staff, prompting their removal.
Cops said the models were charged with trespassing on property after being given a warning.
Both were later released from county jail.
Remarkably, they were allowed to board another American Airlines flight the next day.
Lantry appeared to boast about the outcome in a post, writing: “@AmericanAir forgave us because we’re hot and know how to do the splits.”
