I’m 56 & people always tell me I’m ‘too old to ski’, but the trolling gets worse when they see my outfit on the slopes

A 56-YEAR-OLD has left people with their jaws on the floor after sharing her skiing outfit.

Mum Sue Giers, from Hamburg, Germany, previously confessing that being “basic” is not in her “DNA” – and her latest attire on the slopes is a proof of that.

The mother-of-three, who runs a business, recently took to TikTok to proudly show off her toned figure whilst skiing – in a teeny bikini.

Sharing the unusual winter outfit, Sue claimed that people have told her she’s “too old to ski” – but not only did Sue clap back by proving she very much is able to ski, she can also do so in swimwear.

Sharing her moves on the snow, the fit fashionista went down the mountain rocking nothing but a black two-piece and snowboarding sunnies.

“I had to prove them wrong,” Sue (@sue.giers) hit back at her critics, before the clip soon racked up over 40k views.

THAT’S A WRAP

Next’s 5-star ‘coat of the year’ is slashed from £68 to £20

This is not the first time the glam mum has hit the headlines – as she previously confessed that trolls tell her to “dress her age” and call her a “granny”.

But despite what the haters say, Sue loves wearing everything from hot pants to stilettos.

The blonde beauty is no stranger to causing a stir with her daring outfits online – and one of the latest ensembles is no exception.

In the now-viral clip, which appears to have been shot on a chillier day, the bombshell proudly flaunted her toned body in a skimpy two-piece in public.

The business owner looked phenomenal, wearing a floral two-piece and showing off her never-ending slim legs in sky-high strappy heels.

The show-stopper of a two-piece featured a low-cut back, as well as strappy detailing paired with a figure-hugging mini skirt.

Meanwhile, while Sue was dressed for sizzling hot weather, it appears that the temperatures that day were not as high – as everyone else in the background was keeping cosy with coats and long-sleeve jumpers, carrying umbrellas.

Just like her previous outfits, this skiing ensemble has also taken the internet by storm, with dozens flocking to comments totally shocked.

“Aren’t you cold?” wondered one baffled viewer.

“Not too old to ski but I’m surprised you’re not too cold to ski,” another was just as stunned.

“The bikini is ridiculous,” a critic said.

“I’m the same age – never too old. I would freeze to death with that on but you do look fabulous,” fan chimed in.

“If I had that body I’d walk around in a bikini too,” someone else wrote.

Most important skincare advice

Faye Purcell, Head of Research & Development at Q+A Skincare shared her knowledge with Fabulous.

What skincare advice would you like everyone to know/follow?

Can I give two! Firstly, wear SPF daily and secondly, double cleanse! Wearing SPF daily, even on cloudy days and during the winter months, is one of the most important things you can do for your skin.

Double cleansing is one of the most effective (and often overlooked) ways to upgrade your skincare routine – especially if you wear sunscreen, makeup, or live in a busy polluted city. I’d suggest an evening double cleanse for best results.

What is a big skincare myth?

Luxury doesn’t mean more effective. You absolutely do not need to spend a fortune on skincare to get great results and Q+A is the perfect example of this. Many affordable products use the same active ingredients as luxury brands like hyaluronic acid, retinol, vitamin C, peptides, or salicylic acid – we use these in lots of our face and body products. A smart, consistent routine with well-formulated products – regardless of price – is what truly delivers results.

If someone is new to skincare, what’s one product you’d recommend them and why?

A moisturiser with SPF. Moisturising daily is an essential for all skin types and can make a perceivable difference to the appearance of the skin quickly. As SPF is also essential, combining these two steps can build good habits quickly and prevent skin cancer. Not only is SPF essential for protecting the skin from sun damage/skin cancer but also helps keep premature ageing at bay e.g. wrinkles/pigmentation.

Q+A have three excellent facial SPF50s (£15 each) – Peptide Anti-Ageing SPF50, Niacinamide Balancing SPF50 and Squalane Hydrating SPF50, that are available from Sephora and Holland & Barrett.

What is Q+A’s number one best seller?

Our Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum. It’s our number one best-seller one is sold every 90 seconds!

When it comes to the body, it’s the Q+A Salicylic Acid Body Wash – we sell one every two minutes.

Q+A is available from Sephora, Holland & Barrett, selected Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose stores and qandaskin.com.
