FED-up Pat Swift reckons he lives in Britain’s most potholed road — with more than 150 on a 200-yard stretch outside his house.
The former civil engineer said he often hears vehicles “rattling” down the street, with suspension, tyres and wheels all getting damaged.
Residents in Minchinhampton, Gloucs, have even put up their own warning signs.
Pat, 78, said: “Our biggest concern is danger to people because it is very well used by walkers, dog walkers, horse riders.
“It’s horrific.
“Once we heard a scream and a poor lad had come off his bike having hit a pothole, lacerated all his limbs, broke his arm, and wrote off his bike.

“He was a right mess, but very lucky not to be more badly injured.
“Being so wet, the potholes fill with water and you don’t know what you are going into — especially in the dark.”
He went on: “Occasionally the council come out and will fill one pothole because it’s the deepest, and leave all the other ones around it.
“Everywhere is slowly deteriorating.
“It certainly keeps you on your toes living around here.”
The county council said highways teams are working “flat out right now” and have carried out more than 56,000 minor road repairs, most of them potholes, in the past financial year.
