Struggling Georgia May Foote gives update on debilitating health condition
With her shoulder-length hair down in a voluminous quiff, she coordinated her burgundy work-out gear with her phone and showed a glimpse of her vitiligo on her elbow.
Actress Georgia, 34, who is best-known for playing the role as Katy Armstrong in the hit ITV soap, revealed two years ago that she had been diagnosed with vitiligo.
She’s since been candid with her fans about the health condition, often sharing photos on social media.
Vitiligo can affect any area of skin, but it commonly happens on the face, neck and hands, and in skin creases.
Pale white patches develop on the skin caused by the lack of melanin, which is the pigment in skin.
Last year, the actress took to social media as she opened up on the effects of vitiligo and has helped people living with the condition.
She previously appeared on Channel 5 News and explained: “I developed it in 2020. It started with a couple of little spots here and there, and then over the past five years it’s progressed.
“Now it’s all over my hands, I’ve got it all down my arms, elbows.
“And it’s now gone on my face as well, which has obviously been quite a big change.
“It was a bit of a strange thing to develop at the age I did, but I also feel lucky.
“If I can be the person who can help other people by raising some awareness for it, then I will do.”
Marking the end of 2025, the former Strictly Come Dancing star candidly opened up about her “awful” year including a fire that destroyed her beauty salon and caused her a huge financial blow.
The actress had created a successful side-hustle to her acting by training as a nail technician and setting up a salon in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
In June last year, she took to Instagram to report her salon unit had burned down.
Georgia and husband Kris also headed for divorce just two years after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony.
The actress removed her wedding ring and wiped all traces of her ex from her Instagram page — including glossy snaps from their wedding.
