Numerous red carpet regulars have confessed to inviting a third person into the bedroom to “spice things up” in recent times, despite it previously being somewhat of a taboo.
While some have proudly lifted the lid on their saucy antics, others have admitted they regretted it after it had taken place.
And the celebrities are not alone in wanting to open up their bedrooms.
Although 14 per cent of adults in the UK report have confessed to having had a threesome, a whopping 95 per cent of men and 87 per cent of women have fantasised about multi-partner sex, according to Kinsey Institute.
Here, we share the celebs who have confessed to partaking in threesomes, and what really happened between their sheets…
Emily Atack
Inbetweeners actress and comedian Emily Atack, 36, revealed on The Emily Atack Show that she once had a threesome with a married couple she met at a pub.
She said: “After a bit of flirting and texting, he announces that he’s married but it’s OK because he and his wife have an open relationship and she wants to meet me.
“Now to some people that would be a red flag but I’m like a bull — red flags drive me wild.”
She described the situation as “fun for a bit” until the couple both began falling in love with her separately, leading to a complicated “double breakup.”
Emily said she had to sit them both down to say “sh**ging” her was not going to solve their marital issues.
Emily insists she’s keen to use her platform to talk about sex, saying: “Blokes talk like that all the time. I want to celebrate being women who aren’t afraid to express themselves.
“I’m saying we’re allowed to talk about that stuff, too. That’s the flag I’m flying at the moment.”
Lottie Moss
Fashion model and sister of Kate Moss, Lottie, 28, spoke candidly on the Call Her Daddy podcast about having a threesome while in a relationship with Made in Chelsea star Alex Mytton.
She described the experience as “awkward” and regrettable, eventually leaving the room while the encounter continued.

Iconic Spice Girl and TV judge Mel B, 50, was open about her relationship with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, with reports suggesting they frequently invited third parties into their bedroom.
Mel later discussed the complexities of these arrangements in her memoir Brutally Honest.
The popstar wrote: “The threesome was my idea, but of course my then husband was well up for it - as long as there were no other men involved.
