Hailey Bieber hints at having a second child with husband Justin as model admits she’s ‘much more prepared to do it again’ after welcoming son Jack Blues

Hailey Bieber has hinted at the possibility of trying for a second child with husband Justin, little more than a year after giving birth to their son.

The American model has embraced parenthood with her pop star husband following the birth of Jack Blues in August 2024, despite admitting she was initially unprepared for the responsibilities that come with raising a child.

Speaking to the latest issue of GQ, Bieber, 28, says the the life-changing experience means she will approach any future pregnancies with a different outlook.

‘I don’t think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself,’ she said.

‘But I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time.

‘And I think for me personally, there’s so much unknown to it, but so much happens and so much changes and you evolve in a totally different way that you would never be able to prepare for until you do it.’

Raised as an evangelical Christian, Bieber now attends the same non-denominational Christian church as her husband.

And she admits her pregnancy journey and the subsequent birth of their son has only strengthened a pre-existing belief in spirituality.

‘I’m somebody who has always been a quite spiritual person,’ she said. ‘I think your depth of spirituality becomes deeper when you bring life into the world, for sure.

‘It is a very spiritual experience and, yeah, I don’t think that’s ever going to change for me. I mean, I would always love to evolve the depth of it.

‘But I don’t think that’s something that will ever not be so important in my life and close to my life.’

Bieber previously alluded to the prospect of expending her family during a sit-down interview with the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast.

‘I know I want more than one,’ she said. ‘I always knew I wanted to be a mom, though. Since I was a little kid, I always envisioned myself having kids.

‘You know what’s funny? The older I’ve gotten and now that I have a kid, I think any decision anyone makes about having them or not having them is totally amazing.’

However, the model, who celebrated Jack’s first birthday on October 24, believes she she is still adjusting to parenthood after welcoming her son at the age of 27.

‘I do think there were fears around it. I didn’t know what to expect,’ she said of her pregnancy.

‘Once they’re here, you just figure it out day by day. And it’s like every single day I’m learning about how to be a mom and what’s best for my son and what’s best for me as a mom.’

Bieber admitted that she’s able to juggle her parental responsibilities while maintaining a career with the help of professional nannies, employed full time to assist with her son.

‘I do have help,’ she said. ‘I have full-time help and I’m super not ashamed to say that, and I would never shy away from talking about that because I wouldn’t be able to have my career and do the things that I do without the help, and I’m really grateful for that.’

But while she’s surrounded by a full-time team, the model insists her son is never apart from his parents.

‘If he’s not with me, he’s with his dad,’ she said. ‘He’s always with his family, and he’s always with one of us, or with his godparents.’
