THIS is the stomach-churning moment an elderly man throws up on Taiwan’s president at a speech in front of shocked spectators.
Nauseating footage showed Taiwanese leader Lai Ching-te being sprayed with sick as a temple chairman suddenly vomited on him.
In the gobsmacking footage, chief of the Sacrificial Rites Martial Temple, Lin Pei-huo, is seen standing among local officials at a Lunar New Year event.
President Lai stands to his right, wearing a red hoodie and seemingly unaware that he is in the splash zone.
Lin, who appears to blink rapidly and clench his fists, looks visibly uncomfortable as he slowly turns his head.
The temple boss then covers his mouth quickly before vomiting into his hand.

Despite shielding the president from the majority of his sick, sprays of vomit end up splashing the Taiwanese leader, most noticeably on his shoulder.
Lin then stumbles away before leaning on a table.
Taiwanese president Lai, who used to be a doctor, initially walks forward as he is hit by the puke.
But he then goes back to check on the unwell man.
Lai reportedly helped direct first-aid measures at the scene of the chunder.
The programmed event was temporarily paused while organisers helped the elderly man.
The Taiwanese leader also addressed the crowd following the unexpected ordeal.
He explained that some of Lin’s family members had recently contracted norovirus – adding that the chairman may have been affected too.
Lai also said that Lin’s condition had stabilised.
Lin later apologised for the disturbance, explaining that his relatives had recently been infected with norovirus and that he too had fallen ill.
He described the sickening ordeal as unavoidable in the moment and expressed his regret to attendees.
