GUGLIELMO VICARIO has been accused of “ragebaiting” Tottenham fans with his blunder against Fulham.
Spurs fell to their fourth loss on the bounce in the Premier League as it was a miserable visit to Craven Cottage.
New manager Igor Tudor is yet to taste victory since replacing Thomas Frank at the helm and was left baffled by his goalkeeper’s blunder.
Spurs were 2-0 down by the 52nd minute after a brilliant first half for Fulham, with goals from Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi.
The visitors were given a chance to launch the ball forward with a free kick just inside their own half.
Vicario demanded the responsibility to take it, but booted it all the way out for a goal-kick.

The cameras cut to Tudor, who could be seen clapping but with a confused look on his face.
He was not the only one appearing baffled by the Italian goalkeeper’s decision-making.
Fans reacted to the moment on social media with many hitting out at Vicario.
One posted: “Vicario might be the funniest to ever do it.”

A second wrote: “He is a generational clown.”
A third commented: “He’s ragebaiting his own fanbase.”
A fourth said: “He’s got a relegation release clause. Only explanation.”
Another added: “Quite possibly the worst player our football club has seen.”
Richarlison did get one back for Spurs but they were unable to force an equaliser before full-time.
The defeat leaves the club just four points above West Ham in the relegation zone.
The gap could be cut to just one point on Wednesday if the Hammers better Spurs’ efforts at Craven Cottage.
The North London club will then have to wait until they host Crystal Palace on Thursday to try and stop the rot.
Speaking after the game, Tudor gave a damning review of his team’s performance.
He told Sky Sports: “We were not good, lacked everything. Attacking and defending. Fulham were much better.
“There are problems here, big problems. We need to stay calm, believe in what we are doing in training, and get out, staying all together.
“These are not things to speak outside, we speak in the dressing room.
“The problems are more complex [than attitude and commitment] second half was better, but the first half was not enough.”
The Croatian coach has also insisted that Spurs are focused on their next match and not the thought of relegation from the Premier League.
He added: “We are just thinking about the next game.
“We don’t need to think about that [relegation] not because it cannot happen.
“We must focus on growing mentality as a team, concentration, physically. These are the only goals we must have.”
