Forgotten Chelsea star Mudryk training at non-league stadium less than an hour from Blues’ Cobham training ground

MYKHAILO MUDRYK is back on the pitch.

The Uxbridge Football Club pitch, that is, as he shared a video of himself scoring a left-footed belter in training.

The Ukrainian winger was filmed on the astro-turf pitch receiving the ball on his right foot, before faking onto his left and curling the ball into the top left corner.

Off the post, no less, leading the goalkeeper planted to the floor.

Uxbridge FC are in the Southern League Premier Division South, and are based in Yiewsley.

The stadium is an hour’s drive from Chelsea‘s Cobham training ground.

His return to Chelsea still feels a way off, though he has dropped several cryptic hints since his suspension in December 2024.

The post on his Instagram story on New Year’s Day was the most recent and hinted at possible good news regarding his return to football.

He wrote: “Happy New Year to all my fans.

“I just wanted to say thank you for your support.

“I see all your messages and truly appreciate them, so please don’t give up on me as I not give up on myself [sic].

“Can’t wait to see you soon.”

In his time away from professional football, he has clearly been keeping in good shape and training, as shown in the video he uploaded today.

His return to Chelsea is something fans are looking forward to, though it is unclear if he would actually be able to work his way back into the first team.

The Blues signed Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens in his position in the summer, and have Geovany Quenda joining this summer.

Upcoming academy starlet Jesse Derry looks to have a bright future on the left, and Pedro Neto has featured there at times this season too.

Away from football, he has also found joy in flirting with American TV star Jordyn Jones and may just have won her over.

Adding to the hype, Jones has posed with a Chelsea scarf and followed Mudryk back.

The winger has also been gaming in his downtime, which reportedly resulted in another ban…

According to Dexerto, Mudryk has been given a four-week ban from FACEIT for posting “toxic messages”.
