SHOPPERS are going wild for a “gorgeous” new scarf cardigan from Tesco.
Not only is it perfect for spring, but it’s super trendy too.
On top of this, according to Tesco bosses the new-in buy is super “cosy and warm.”
Numerous fashion fans spotted the F&F Knitted Striped Scarf Cardigan in their local supermarkets and one Tesco shopper eagerly flocked to social media to show it off to her followers.

Excited to nab the on-trend buy, the young woman quickly picked up the striped cardigan and headed straight to the till.
Clearly impressed with her find, she gushed: “I fear Tesco ate with this one.”
According to the online description, the scarf cardigan will “upgrade your knitwear collection in an instant.”
The £25 buy has been hailed an “on-trend cardigan, complete with cosy scarf detailing for extra warmth and style.”
Meanwhile, Tesco bosses added: “The button up fastening and ribbed trims make it a classic pick on cooler days.”
While it’s perfect with high-waisted jeans and boots for a chic outfit, it can also look perfect with leggings and trainers for a more laid-back style.
But the supermarket find is currently out of stock on the Tesco website, so you’ll need to get down to your local store, and fast, if you want to nab it.
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
It’s clear that others were equally as impressed by the F&F cardigan, as Maddison’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @madmadz20, has quickly racked up 35,600 views.
Fashion fans raced to the comments to share their thoughts, as one person simply said: “Love.”
Alongside love heart eye emojis, another added: “Obsessed.”
While a third commented: “Gorg.”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in and claimed: “I bought this and it’s sooooo itchy.”
But to this, Maddison replied and wrote: “Oh nooo, that’s so frustrating!
“I can be sensitive to some fabrics, but this one felt okay to me. I hate when that happens though.”
