There are four types, the RM 56-02 Tourbillon, RM 56-01, RM 27-04, and RM 52-05, all carved from blocks of sapphire crystal.

Catalin’s watch could also be a prototype, watches designed specifically for millionaires which boast a higher value.

Tennis legend Nadal is known to have one as well as F1 driver Charles Leclerc.

Other prototypes include rapper Jay-Z’s £2 million Richard Mille RM 056 Blueprint

Botezatu, 59, founded his own fashion label in the 1990s and opened his first boutique in his home country Romania.

He went on to study and work with Italian star Gianni Versace.

Botezatu’s clients include US singer and actress Vanessa Williams.
