A FASHION designer to A-list stars has been mugged for his £2million Richard Mille watch.
Catalin Botezatu, who works for Vogue and Versace, was threatened into handing it over at 11.50pm last Thursday.
Gangs are known to prowl Berkeley Square in Mayfair, central London, hunting for victims.
A suspect has been charged over the theft.
Younes Djoudim, 33, of Slough, Berks, was remanded in custody at Westminster magistrates’ court on Saturday.
The Richard Mille Botezatu was wearing is most likely part of the Sapphire Series, considered some of the rarest watches in the world.
