ERLING HAALAND served up a hat-trick in Man City’s 4-0 FA Cup win over Liverpool before feasting on a Greggs to celebrate.

The Norwegian was on a roll at the Etihad and might have treated himself to a few more after showing off his bag of baked goods.

After slicing open the Liverpool defence in City’s romp, Haaland uploaded a picture of his post-match meal to his Instagram stories.

He showed off a takeaway bag from Greggs which had been delivered to the stadium.

Haaland’s caption simply read: “Essentials x.”

Fans loved seeing Haaland celebrate his hat-trick with a “humble” snack.

Haaland, who now has 33 goals this season, had opened his account from the penalty spot before doubling City’s lead with a header from close range just before half time.

And he secured his treble with a simple tap-in following a blistering City counter-attack.

Antoine Semenyo netted the other goal in the thumping win, which piles pressure on Arne Slot.

Haaland was going through something of a dry spell by his high standards before his hat-trick.

He went through a run of just one goal since February 11, which came in a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid on March 17.

Speaking after helping City reach the FA Cup semi-finals, Haaland said: “This club has to win trophies on the biggest stage.

“It’s been some time since I have done it [scored a hat-trick] for City. It is special so I am super happy.”

His manager Pep Guardiola was serving a touchline ban for this game, but his assistant Pep Lijnders raved about Haaland’s display.

Lijnders said: “He is not only lovely but he is a machine to work with. I like the guys who train like that. Compliments to him.

“I worked with a lot of good strikers, with a lot of goals, with a lot of finals and trophies. Erling scored the 12th hat-trick today for Man City and the second goal was insane.

“He weighed the attack, he flies, the way he puts the ball into the corner. I love these old-school striker goals.”
