EMMERDALE star Georgia Jay has returned to the soap after she was written out to go on maternity leave in real-life.
She welcomed her baby girl Nora in June last year but it looks like she’s ready to be back at work on the ITV show.
The actress took to Instagram to share a blurry snap of herself sitting in a hair salon chair as she got her hair dyed.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed a script sat in front of her, next to a coffee in a red mug.
She simply captioned the post: “Between foils.”
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts as one said: “I hope you’re reading Emmerdale script and coming back.”

Another person commented: “@dales.miligans that best be an Emmerdale script.”
Somebody else asked: “Is that an Emmerdale script?”
While a fifth added: “Can’t wait to see you back on Emmerdale soon.”
Georgia’s character Steph Miligan was last seen on-screen in August last year when she departed to head to a yoga retreat in Rome.
Her ex Ross Barton (Mike Parr) tried to stop her from leaving, but after just finding out he’d slept with Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), she decided she couldn’t trust him and wanted nothing to do with him.
However, she did promise mum Ruby she would return in the future.
In real-life, the actress announced her pregnancy in the same month she gave birth.
She shared snaps of her bump as he wrote alongside them: “As you’ve probably guessed, I’ve got some news to share!
“I know some of you have been wondering if you’ve been seeing a little bump on screen lately… well, it’s not your imagination…I’m having a baby.
“We’ve never been so excited and a little nervous all at once. Thank you for all the love and support.”
In a New Year’s post this year, she shared the first picture of her adorable daughter Nora.
In the black and white shot, taken by Anya Tilden, Georgia was seen holding Nora and gently rested her face against the baby’s with her eyes closed.
Co-star Michelle Hardwick called it “gorgeous” while Laura Norton wrote: “Yay congrats gorgeous.”
Beth Cordingly, who plays her on-screen mum Ruby, commented: “You are perfect and so is she. Love you x.”
She revealed she had actually given birth to Nora back in June, the same month she announced she was pregnant.
Goergia captioned the snap: “Nora” with a red rose emoji and added “June 2025.”
The soap star first joined the iconic show back in 2024 as the daughter of Ruby and Caleb Miligan.
