A BOOZE and drug-fuelled thug who used his Mercedes as a “weapon” and ploughed into a crowd of clubbers has been jailed.
Mohammed Suffi, 23, mowed down revellers outside The Tunnel Club in Birmingham in a shocking revenge rampage that left a DJ with catastrophic injuries.
Harrowing footage showed the powerful SUV tearing towards party goers after a Freshers’ Week event in October 2024.
Six people were injured in the horror hit-and-run — including popular DJ Caliston Calistus, 28, who was dragged beneath the vehicle.
The court heard Mr Calistus suffered fractured ribs, a fractured pelvis, a broken collar bone, broken shoulder blades, a broken neck and collapsed lungs after being crushed under the Mercedes.
Jurors were told Suffi had been “egged on” by a pal and had taken nitrous oxide before unleashing the attack.

After a row inside the club spilled out onto the street, the yob and his pals were kicked out at around 2.20am.
Sentencing at Birmingham Crown Court, Judge Paul Farrer KC said: “You could have chosen to leave but instead you remained outside the club waiting for it to close and for people to leave.
“I have no doubt you were intent on violence against the unknown man you had a quarrel with inside the club.”
The judge said the group were outnumbered in a street fight and retreated to Suffi’s Mercedes.
He said: “Having lost the fight you felt humiliated and as a consequence Suffi lost his temper and drove his Mercedes at some speed at people who had left the club.
“People leapt out of the way. This was a large SUV type vehicle and was inevitably going to cause serious injury.
“Had the car passed over someone’s head that person would have almost inevitably been killed.
“The reality is that having lost your temper you were intent on causing mayhem and injury to those on the road.”
Prosecutor Daniel Oscroft said the car “reversed and circled back and round and drove at pedestrians knocking people over”.
Mr Calistus heard the “cracking” of his bones as the Mercedes rolled over him and later said he thought he was going to die.
He spent three weeks in hospital undergoing major surgery.
In a victim statement, the DJ said: “I was the victim of a serious incident which changed my life.
“I am still undergoing treatment. I am left in constant pain, I have reduced mobility, have visible scars and psychological trauma.
“It was not just my job it was my dream my purpose.”
After the carnage, Suffi tried to dispose of the Mercedes and fled to Dubai before being brought to justice.
He was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a trial in December, having already admitted dangerous driving.
Suffi, of Aston, Birmingham, was jailed for 11 years and six months and banned from driving for 10 years and seven months.
Three pals — Daanyal Hussain, 21, of Yardley; Mustafa Gohari, 21, of Acocks Green; and Armaan Abid, 23, of Handsworth — had earlier admitted affray.
They were each handed 11-month jail sentences, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work.
