RYAN GARCIA looks to win his first world title when he takes on WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas TOMORROW NIGHT!
Garcia returns for the first time since losing his May comeback bout to Rolly Romero – whose win in New York won him the WBA title.
The American star was also due to challenge for the 140lb WBC title in 2024 – until he missed weight against Devin Haney.
And it went from bad to worse when Garcia’s initial win was overturned to a no-contest when he tested positive for banned substance Ostarine – which is known to boost muscle growth.
Garcia – who did pass tests taken in the build-up to the bout – failed in samples taken before and on the day of the fight and served a one-year ban.
The social media sensation accepted a one-year ban and returned against Romero – now finding himself on the verge of another world title fight.
