NOTORIOUS Chelsea masseur Billy ‘Blood’ McCulloch left fans baffled after wearing a note on his forehead saying “always connected” in training.
McCulloch is a popular figure in the Blues dressing room and has previously made headlines for sparring with players.
Now the physio has made a name for himself again by displaying the two-worded message on his head after Liam Rosenior arrived at the club.
Many fans found the message amusing as one called him “hilarious” and another called him a “legend”.
A third added: “Billy is one of a kind, one of the few remaining OGs at the club.”
But one confused fan said: “Broo what are we doing???”

And one added: “What the hell is going on at this club?”

In fact, he arrived at the same time as Frank Lampard and watched the midfielder become an all-time Blues great by winning three Premier League titles and scoring 211 goals.
McCulloch is a cult figure among the Chelsea first team and was incredibly filmed having a sparring session with ex-striker Diogo Costa in 2014.
The video was filmed by John Terry, who was left in stitches when he recorded it.
It showed the pair going toe-to-toe with the Rocky soundtrack blaring in the background before Brazilian star Costa ended up flooring McCulloch.
Terry captioned the post: “@diegocosta Vs Billy (AKA) Rocky Pre season 2014/15. After this I knew we would win the league.
“What a Legend. I’m crying watching this,” followed by laughing emojis.
And in 2023 he was involved in another joke fight with striker Armando Broja.
On this occasion, he came out on top after the pair traded light punches, before McCulloch knocked him over after hitting Broja’s arm.
The clip was uploaded by former defender Ben Chilwell, and later Broja commented on the post as he demanded a fight with the staffer.
