What are B&M’s Easter Bank Holiday opening times?

B&M’s almost 800 UK stores will be open across much of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, with just one day set aside.

On Easter Sunday (April 5), all stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be closed.

Stores in Scotland will remain open as normal throughout the whole weekend.

A B&M spokesperson confirmed that all locations in the country will be trading and adhering to their usual hours over the Easter Bank Holiday.

Throughout the UK, Good Friday (April 3) and Easter Monday (April 6) will be treated as normal trading days, so customers can expect the usual opening hours at their local branch on both.

The Easter Sunday closure in England and Wales is a legal requirement under the Sunday Trading Act 1994.

It requires large shops – those with a floor area exceeding 280 square metres – to remain shut on Easter Sunday.

No equivalent restriction applies in Scotland, which is why Scottish branches will continue trading throughout.

As opening times vary between individual B&M branches, it is worth checking your local store’s hours before heading out.

This can be done via the use the B&M store locator tool.

You can also check by downloading the B&M app, which also features a store finder feature.

That means Monday, December 27 and Tuesday, December 28 will be Bank Holidays as well.
