ROBERT Jenrick claimed the Tories were the “party of posh people” who have given up on Red Wall voters in an explosive interview earlier this week.
Jenrick rocked Westminster and the political landscape on Thursday with his bombshell defection to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK Party.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, he claimed that the Tories had “almost become the party of posh people” and are completely “out of touch” with most of the country.
Jenrick added: “It’s just not a party now of working people. of provincial Britain, of the towns and cities, of the people who read The Sun.”
The ex-Tory MP is tight-lipped about who else might defect after his shock move.
But he says the Tories are over as a political force, and that any vote for them is now a “wasted vote”.
