Andrew must testify to US Congress about Epstein

HILLARY Clinton has called on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to appear before Congress over his ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The former US presidential candidate, 78, has already agreed to testify alongside husband Bill in an investigation into the disgraced financier.

Mrs Clinton will appear before the House Oversight Committee on February 26 – a day before former President Bill testifies.

He will become the first former US leader to be compelled to testify.

The pair have called for the hearings to be held in public rather than behind closed doors.

And asked whether Andrew should appear before the committee, she said: “I think everyone should testify who is asked to testify.”

Mrs Clinton also urged the Trump administration to make all the remaining documents public.

She told the BBC: “Get the files out. They are slow walking it.

“We will show up, but we think it would be better to be in public rather than a closed-door deposition.

“We have nothing to hide. We have called for the full release of these files repeatedly. We think sunlight is the best disinfectant.”

Hillary’s husband and former president Bill has himself been engulfed in the Epstein scandal and appears in the latest tranche of files.

One photo shows the half-naked former president relaxing in a hot tub alongside an unidentified woman.

Another snap in the latest release shows the former US president cutting a slice of cake for a woman on board what appears to be a private jet.

We do not know where or when the photo was taken, or who took it.

Two other photos from the same scene, including one showing Mr Clinton and Ghislaine Maxwell, were also released in the files.

He flew on Epstein’s plane several times in the early 2000s after leaving office.

He has expressed regret about the relationship and has denied any wrongdoing, saying he knew nothing about Epstein’s criminal activity.
